Common questions

What do the scores mean?
Your calibration curve shows how honest your priors are — when you predict an intention will succeed, how often does it actually? Lift shows which practices made the biggest difference in helping you achieve your intentions. Both are computed honestly from your own logged intentions and their resolutions.

Why can't I see my calibration curve yet?
The calibration curve and lift metrics need enough resolved intentions to be meaningful. Below that the numbers would be statistical noise, and Latent doesn't show noise. Honesty gates unlock stats when you've logged enough intentional practice.

What is an honest prior?
Your prior is your genuine belief about whether you'll achieve this intention, before you log it. Be honest — if you think it's unlikely, say so. Latent uses your honest priors to compute your calibration and show you whether your judgment matches reality.

Why can't I edit an intention after logging it?
By design. An intention you can rewrite after the fact isn't genuine. If one has become unjudgeable or the context changed, resolve it as void — voids don't count against you and don't affect your statistics.

How do I export my data?
Settings → "Export as CSV" creates a file on your device and opens the iOS share sheet. You control exactly where it goes. Export is part of Latent Pro and helps you keep backups or migrate data.

Reminders aren't showing up.
Check iOS Settings → Notifications → Latent is allowed. Reminders are scheduled the morning an intention comes due (or at its due time for same-day intentions).

How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Latent Pro, or the “Manage subscription” link inside the app's Settings.

How do I delete my data?
Settings → “Delete all intentions” inside the app, or just delete the app. Everything is on your device; there's no server copy anywhere.

How do practice comparisons work?
When you log multiple practices for a single intention, Latent Pro shows you which ones correlated with success. This is correlation, not proof of causation — use it to guide your own judgment about what actually works for you.
