Aperture is a Controlled Remote Viewing practice tool from Quiet Optics (“we”, “us”). This policy describes what data the app handles. The short version: everything stays on your device, and we collect nothing.
Nothing. Aperture has no accounts, no analytics SDKs, no advertising, no tracking, and no server of ours that the app talks to.
The app stores the following locally on your device only:
This data never leaves your device unless you export it or turn on iCloud sync. The optional Export feature writes your session data to a file and hands it to the iOS share sheet — where it goes from there (Messages, Files, email) is entirely your choice and under your control.
If you enable the optional Pro iCloud sync, your session data moves through your own private iCloud — Apple's CloudKit private database, tied to your Apple Account — so it can sync across your devices, and nowhere else. It never passes through a server of ours; we can't see it, and there is no account with us for it to belong to.
The optional AI judge runs entirely on your device using Apple’s on-device language model. Your impressions are never sent to us or to any AI service — the analysis happens on your device, and works with no internet connection at all.
If you delete a viewer, that viewer’s sessions are permanently deleted. If you delete the app, all app data is deleted with it.
Subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details, name, or Apple Account. Purchase entitlement is verified on-device via Apple’s StoreKit. Apple’s handling of your purchase data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Aperture is rated 12+ and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, children included — because it collects no data at all.
If a future version of Aperture ever changes what data is handled, this policy will be updated first and the change will be clearly disclosed in the app before anything is enabled.
