What do the scores mean?
Your Brier score is the average squared gap between your stated
confidence and what actually happened — 0.0 is perfect, 0.25 is what always answering
“50%” scores, lower is better. The calibration view compares what you
said (e.g. “80% sure”) with how often you were actually right at that level.
Why can't I see my Brier score yet?
Scores unlock at 10 resolved predictions, and the calibration curve at 20. Below that
the numbers would be statistical noise, and Reticle doesn't show noise.
How do I log something I think won't happen?
Slide the confidence below 50% — Reticle flips the entry to “won't happen” at the
mirrored confidence, which keeps the math honest.
Why can't I edit a prediction after logging it?
By design. A prediction you can rewrite after the fact isn't a prediction. If one has
become unjudgeable, resolve it as void — voids don't count against you.
How do I import from Fatebook or PredictionBook?
Export a CSV from those services (Fatebook: Settings → Export; PredictionBook exports
from before the site went read-only also work), then in Reticle: Settings → Import
from CSV. Reticle keeps your questions, confidence levels, dates, and resolutions.
Import is part of Reticle Pro.
Reminders aren't showing up.
Check iOS Settings → Notifications → Reticle is allowed. Reminders are scheduled the
morning a prediction comes due (or at its due time for same-day predictions).
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Reticle
Pro, or the “Manage subscription” link inside the app's Settings.
How do I delete my data?
Settings → “Delete all predictions” inside the app, or just delete the app. Everything
is on your device; there's no server copy anywhere.
